server rules question

I have noticed quite a few people using the spectator respawn bug/feature/whatever lately.

I aked the ones I saw to stop, and for the most part they did, but I had a couple tell me that they had been told it was ok to do?

Is the use of it allowed/tolerated/accepted?

I only ask because I want to give the guys the benefit of the doubt and to make sure that I haven't been pestering people for no reason....

I would hope that it's not "allowed" once it's found out as it really bypasses a necessary part of the game that we all have to go through (waiting for reinforcements)..

Just wanted to clear it up for sure...

I'll be out of the office today so I won't be on, but I'll check back in tomorrow.

it is in no way allowed. if you see people doing this please grab their steam ID and let us know.

alright....so I made it back this evening...hehe....just wanted to say thanks for clearing it up...

I truly just wanted to make sure that it was against the rules, as I had assumed, and that I wasn't harping on players who had actually been told it was ok to do that.

yeah....sorry i did it once and i think it was squirlly that yelled at me....it doesn't really help unless you need to wait the whole 12 secs...not worth it for me to press all those keys.....<---LAZY AMERICAN!
