This post is for any one who Admins the serves.

"Tried to create a message with a Bogus Message Type ( 0 )"

Has anyone ever seen this error message upon the server crashing in the logs? I have **The Tomato Patch** server and I use it for a practice server. I use Sturmbot 1.6 and load 24 bots. Is it possible that a player can login to the server and crash it due to a character in their name or some kind of other tweak. When the server crashes this error is the last line in the log file. Anyone have any idea about what this error is and how to fix it? Thanks for the help. Bleeding Tomato

Not running anything extra this time. I also just did a update to HLDS. It may have something to do with the bots. I'm at a total loss on this error.

Have you posted at Steampowered.com in their forums?

Lots of server admins and stuff hang around there and might be able to help.

Not sure. I know bots sometimes send messages that the server doesn't recognize.
