high ping?

Is anyone else getting extremely high ping, like 700-1000, lately on TheVille's I, IV, and V servers?

Any suggestions as to why I might be getting these numbers? I am at college on a T1 and I am getting 20's and 30's on other servers, but the Ville servers have be unnaturally high lately. Help

yeah, other servers are great and I have encountered the problem with the settings before. that was the first thing i checked when it started, but those were fine. it just seems odd that only the ville servers woudl get such high pings while any other server would be just fine. it's like bad karma or something.

Tracert/ping the Ville servers, maybe a bad hop.

When do you play? Morning, afternoon, evening, night?
Because, I notice that there's a big difference sometimes mostly between 4pm ET to like 10pm ET which as a higher ping period. Or maybe it's just me.

All 3 servers are in different locations.

TV1 and 4 are in the Chicago Area and are on different T1's in different locations.

TV5 is in Dallas, TX. I believe.

Like Stutter said maybe there is a bad hop coming down from MI. I hope it clears up for you.

i play periodically throughout the day, usually every evening for sure. this has only been happening since i came back to school on sunday, so hopefully it is only a phase. and it is only the ville servers. it is weird that my favorites list woudl be 30/40/50 while the ville is 300/400/500. also, the 2nd para bn server has not been responding lately either. anyone else getting that?
