So, I worked with some people at my school here to put together a presentation on what spyware is and tips on preventing and removing it. The information is up on the web here in case you're having problems or some people who are less tach savy then you are. The workshop handout has some good stuf (including a checklist of what to do for a basic removal). If you have questions, post or PM me here.

Nice post, If you dont mind Ill pass it along to some of our guys. they are not tech savy and are always having troubles. Maybe it will help them get a better idea of what and when to do something about it.

That does have some good information. Best part about it is I would agree with pretty much everything. I felt as if I wrote that because I have given speaches and emails out about this for a while to all my end users.

Glad to hear it will be useful and there's nothing in there too disagree with very much . Alot of effort went into getting that information together. I personally created and edited the videos together, which took ages. Editing alone was over an hour for each. Unfortunately, it didn't do much good here at my school, so I figured I'd see if some other people couldn't get use out of this effort.
