Non IE browsers security vulnerability

Any browser with IDN enabeled (firefox does, IE doesn't) is vulrnerable to spoofing of a url.

Click here for fix in firefox

after your done deleting those 2 lines, take the test in the link above to see if you're protected.

Alright, I tried to fix, I opened the .dat file, and .... massive amounts of text, so I searched for idn, found two, where do I delete? let me quote the areas around it:

just do a search for idn in wordpad or notepad and 2 likes will show up, delete them.

edit: oh is that the 2 whole lines? then delete both of the whole lines.

but it isn't lines, just a mass of text.... where does the line start and end is my question... hm... why does my wordpad not make nice little lines....
I know I need to delete 2 lines, because I fail the test, I just don't know where I am to start or stop the line.. thanks

The lines appear to be separated by little vertical rectangle things.

oy vay.... I deleted those lines, what I thought where the lines start and stop... and I still fail the test... uh oh. (I have no cute little rectangles either btw)

first of all, use wordpad not notepad. it sets up all the lines nice an neat. you have to exit outa firefox then start it again inorder for the changes to work.

I guess I did delete the lines correctly, and I was using wordpad, oops, typo. I just needed to restart my comp I guess. Thanks again for your patience.
