I have a mic, so I unbound the voice commands from C,V,& B and bound C=crouch, V=prone. Though, if I were to do it over again I might reverse those... I'm not sure. Otherwise, defaults.
Question: how do you scope or deploy if your right mouse key is move? And, pardon the stupidity but was is AQ2? _________________ -EvilGenius V$^PK

I use the 3rd mouse button as deploy/scope.
AQ2 is Action Quake 2.
The original Quake CTF and AQ2 is where I honed most of my skills (albeit dormant for about 2-3 years and now coming back to me)
I picked up DoD again about 3 months ago after not playing since early releases. You know, when flags didn't wave in the air and the maps looked a lot different.
/edit: I even have all of the original files for DoD. Also have the original files for AQ2, Q1 Rocket Arena, Q2 Rocket Arena, Q1 CTF, Q1 Mod that gives you the grapple hook, etc. Kind of a file whore. |

I have six actions set to my mouse and use the arrow keys to run back and forth and strafe. I have everything else setup on the keys that surround the arrows. _________________

ASDW - Movement
Space - Secondary
Shift - Crouch/Duck
Q - Prone
E - Pick up Crap
G - Toss Weapon
F - Sprint
Z,X,C - Radio. C is most important Radio menu, easy to access.
Right Mouse - Jump
Left Mouse - Shooteth
I use the keys like I do because they're closer together (less hand movement)
And because they're much easier to use in proper sequences, such as
jump/duck, or just normally ducking... You're pinkie is usually resting
on the shift key anyway, why not make great use out of it?
Same with prone, you're fingers are so close to the 'q' button it's hard not
to set it to something you use all the goddamn time! _________________ Spawn camper since: Dod Beta 1.0

I pretty much run default. I use a laptop, so some keys are different because the keys are a little too packed. The differences from default are as follows.
Right click = crouch
q = secondary attack
f = stopsound
l = voice (because i have no mic to use anyways)
capslock = voice_bazookaspotted (much easier than pressing b 9) |
