So here I am, minding my own business on the Thursday before New Year's. I'm sitting at work listening to the radio, and the DJ comes on saying they are taking callers for this contest they've been running for the past few weeks. He says something about answering a question and winning an MP3 player, so I decide to call.

After about 10 minutes of busy signals and redial, I get through and the phone rings. I've had time to hear the question again and talk to the other 2 people in the office. The guy comes on the phone, and asks if I have an answer. Giving him my guess, he says "Congradulations! You've won a MuVo 512mb MP3 player..." and I expect him to stop talking. But he doesn't. "... Two free tickets to the New Year's Eve party at Wild Bills (a club in Atlanta), a free hotel room with AmeriSuites, and free transportation there and back all night."

So I'm pretty stoked come Friday night, and I get to the hotel to find that two things are not as I expected. For one, the room is a fsking King Suite. And two, the tickets are VIP tickets. Now, I wish I could tell a tale of debuachery (sp?) and wild womanizing, but apparantly the party was 21 and up only, and unfortunatly I'm a few years too young for that. So I'm a little upset, but I head back up to my room to invite a few friends over. While I'm waiting for them to all head over, I drive down the street for something to eat real quick.

Yet when I come back and get into the lobby, there is apparantly some sort of raffle going on between the contest winners. And lo and behold, my name is drawn, wherein I receive $2500 in cash!!!!

So, uhm, what kind of new computer should I buy?

LOL! Nice! (already knew, but nice to read the details without others interrupting).

You should build your own Or buy Alienware. I say build, but I wouldn't know where to start. Enjoy the money, while it lasts

Wow, that is awesome. Congratulations. Sucks that the drinking age in the usa is 21... I think it's the silliest thing ever.

You must know different under-21 year olds than me. I think it makes perfect sense, there's a lot of idiots around.
