I just did last night. Long and painfull but atleast my computer boots unlike some of the other people that have installed this service pack.
It did change some things with windows and how it looks. Now i got to get use to that lol

The final release is out. However it is not on auto update yet.

| afaik, the only version in the wild is a beta one. dk...if you can show me where on microsoft's site to download it from, ill stand corrected, but as of now it still says "prepare for windows xp sp 2" or something like that and their list of security releases doesnt show it yet. |

Not going to install it right away. My company received a few notices that software we have isn't compatible with SP2. Since I use some of that at home as well I have to wait until our vendors release patches.

same here i looked for it and the version for putting on more than one computer is available but not for a single computer yet, well that was how i read it anyway
