Well, I think I found the dirtiest PC that I have ever had to work on so far.
Let me know what you think.

My first comp was much dirtier than that. I didn't know much about comps then and I had no idea you were suppose to open em up and clean em out. When I finally replaced it and looked inside you could hardly see the mb _________________

I opened up one of our HP workstations, you know, one of those $20,000 models from 1991 or so....anyway, I opened it up after about 5 years in the machine shop office and omg! It had the greasiest dust I have ever seen and it looked waaaay worse than that! So I says to our machine shop manager, what do ya think yer lungs look like after the same amount of time? _________________ Have a knife day! |

I just opened my PC the other day to swap out DVD drives. It was the first time in probably a year and a half. Evidently some small spider decided to make it a home. I cleared out the cobwebs, but the little bugger hid under my motherboard. So I guess he will be a spinning a new bed soon.
Forgot to add. A few weeks ago, I was replacing an old Acer 486 PC at a Doctor's office. The PC had been in this one spot so long that the rubber feet on the bottom of the PC and monitor. Had melted and fused onto the counter it was sitting on. I about broke my back trying to get that old dinosaur off the counter. Then I had to clean off the gook and rust left behind. So much for a clean Doctor's office. |

Hey I don't see any dust bunnies made out of animal fur (Cat and Dog)
Here in the desert - remember not to leave the window open a crack - you never know when there will be a sand storm and coat everything. ya need a fan to blow out everything it sucked in.
I'll say I've seen worse in my years.
hee, hee, hee - spiders are funny. -

at the office last year...the suite next to us decided to spray insulation in their ceilings....well the builders of the building did a shoddy job and there wasnt a complete wall between the suites up above the ceiling. well on monday when everyone came in, there was 1/4" of black sticky insulation over the WHOLE office. and every pc was FULL of it, as it seems the fans sucked it in. inslulation isnt exactly what you want in a computer, but none ended up being hurt too much. a year later i open up PC's and still see that black stuff all over. |
