dont take it so badly at least it was a private school that messed you up. unlike me and the military

a couple of years ago(when i was a soph in high school) i got a call from a marine recruiter. he said it was recently brought to his attention that i was a senior at Fremd high school and that i was in soccer and asked how that was. then he asked if i had looked into the military. ok there are a couple things wrong with that first off i didnt go to fremd i went to conant and that has another school boundary lines in front of it before it comes to conants. second i wasnt a senior like i said b4 i was a sophmore. about the only thing that he had right was taht i played soccer(only freshman year though)

then my favorite part was when i was working one day i was demoing fruit for the grocery store i work for i had another marine recruiter come up to me and try to get me into the marines. she said she was refered to me by a friend...which i still dont buy. and ask if i thought about joining the military at all...etc. well at the end of the day(after about an hr of trying to recruit me WHILE I WORKED!!!!!) she left and i had everyone for the next hr after that asking why the marine recruiter was talking to me for so long(my managers did nothing but watch and laugh. then i find out that it was my best friends leader(dont remember the rank) but she said she didnt give it to her leader...i believe her but idk why...

so like i said at least it was a school and not the military...god bless those men and women at arms

wow, I think Speakers post made more sense than KopiKat's.....

had to read a couple times to understand still...but yeah

soccer you say? what position? were you on varsity? any injuries?

I played, (only sane girl on my team-ask Rebel) was forward-right wing, and/or midfield. I injured my knee though, pops out of place whenever. Went to therapy/doctors, they don't know why it does it. But yeah,my knee cap is now tilted and twisted from where it should be. I miss playing.

I played defense and a little mid. I love soccer, played for about 13 years then had to quit when i got a job.

I sitll watch a lot on tv though.

i played all positions except goalie...after a tramatic event i will never goalie again*crys at the memory* but i mainly played d and forward. the only reason i played fresh was i wasnt getting any play time soph year when my coach(who also coached a travel league nearby) and only played the people who he had on his travel team b4

granted i wasnt the best player but i was better than some of those travel idiots

I played mainly as a defender until I was about 11. I might even be playing now, if I had understood what offside was back then...

Kopikat, dont throw out the letter. As you know, the cost of an education is getting to be pretty damned expensive and if this school would offer you a full scholarship to play varsity soccer then I would seriously consider it if I were you......

Hopefully you wont have to shave your legs too often to not stand out.

I to am unable to play as goalie, due to a traumatic incident in kindergarten (black eye), nor as a defensive position-I tend to shoot for the goal, and have scored one to many goals for the other teams

i was a really good goalie but one mistake messed me up and now i cant play it for the life of me(the mistake and the fact that i have been hit in the head one to many times by the ball and other players

) but im one good defender when i did play. the only reason i didnt make the a team at high school was not only was i not on that stupid travel team but i didnt want to play only d for the a team i wanted to be either a forward or a midfielder

I played goalie and loved it. Blacked out a few times. Nothing big. Smashed me head against the goal post a few times. Nothing big.
