I was in Dallas this last weekend (I know I didn't let anyone know). It was a last minute trip to see some friends in Irving. We went out Friday night to a place in Fort Worth that just opened, they also have one in Austin, called Petes Piano Bar.

For all of you guys that are near one... go. It is kinda like Howl at the Moon is San Antonio. Four guys who rotate around on two baby grand pianos and play all the good stuff. We sat there almost all night getting nice and loaded while singing along. It was hilarious all the stuff they did.

I figured some of you Dallas folk have had to have heard of it, or been there.

And if you have, then lets just get to the point.... "You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille"

No I had not heard of this place. Looks like I will have to stumble in this weekend.

At the bar called City Streets in downtown Fort Worth. There use to be a piano room(City Streets is a concept that has for different rooms). It didn't last to long, don't know why it was usually full when I went by. But the other three rooms were techno/dance type music, which probably did not bring in people who appreciate the atmosphere of a piano room. So hopefully this one will last longer.
