Teleportation, while far fetched, i believe will be a reality in the next couple hundred years. The effects that high energy particles have on eachother is very intriguing, as they have the unique ability to pass through eachother. Electrons can achieve what is known as "tunneling", where an electron can literally jump through a barrier that would normally be impassable to it, and appear on the other side. This is an odd quantum mechanical phoenominon, and its very rare, althought the probability of it happening increases as the object that the electron tunnels through gets smaller and smaller. It is, theoretically, possible for any size object to tunnel through another, but the probability is so infinitessimally small that it will, in all practical intents and purposes, never happen. So dont get your hopes up yet, but this is a quantum leap(pun intended) to the new horizon's of travel and computer efficiency.

Man it would be cool not having to sit on a plane for four hours between Chicago and Vegas. Then I could go bowl a league, bet Bears fans they won't win 7 games and eat some food in Chicago. I'd then be back in Vegas for the NFL games in one minute.
