I have a customer who is replacing two Gateway Desktops. One is a P3-500 and the other P3-700. Both in good condition, just need 2000/XP so they can run at their best potential. The 500 or GP7-500 has one of those weird Flat screen connections. Not for sure what that is called but it is different from the normal VGA connection. This PC may come with the monitor as well, unless I decide to purchase it.
Also I am looking for a Hard Drive(IDE) in the 10-20GB terroritory. Which is oddly enough difficult to find. I have a 10GB SCSI drive if somebody wants to swap. PM me if serious about it for further details. |

PS, that connector is called a DVI connector and there are adaptors for them to hook up to standard VGA monitors.

Yes I saw that in Fry's yesterday, which is why I am considering buying the monitor from the customer. I imagine I can get it for a better price from them than buying a used one anywhere else. So far the cheapest LCD 15" I have seen is US$250. Which is the same as a new one or close. |
