Steam is ran on Microsoft servers, the monkeys at steam forgot to patch the servers for the past two years....it was just a matter of time.

I hate it as much as anyone when steam is down, but hasn't it been pretty smooth for a pretty long time? Aren't we just annoyed because we can't get our gaming fix and we need someone to pummel?

I work in an IT department and the most annoying thing is hearing people complain when something with their computer doesn't work for maybe 1 hour out of 500. I can't imagine it is too easy to maintain the network, but it seems like it has been pretty good for a good long time.
