Grrr need help (sorry if this is the wrong place) but my computer wont switch from 256 Color to 16/32 bit Color, it crashed and i restarted it and now it wont switch back to 16/32 bit color, even if i change it in the desktop properties and restart, it just restarts back in 256 color. I have a GForce 4 MX4000 and am running windows 98 SE, any idea on whats goin on? thanks in advance,

Try updating your drivers. That fixes so many problems. I had the same issue with an old nvidea card I have here and it was the driver
