I dont know what happened....I was playing DoD and it froze and the sound started skipping whatnot so i restarted and it hung on the boot screen and then restarted and hung and restarted and did this 2 more times then i went into the BIOS and lowed my clock speed settings (it is overclocked) and made the memory timings better and raised the AGP aperature size from 64mb to 128mb and restarted and now i cant get hard drive activity or display!!!!!! what the lhell ios going on!!!! i cant live w/o my computer and DoD!!!!!!!! help me !!!!! _________________

turn your PC on and as soon as it gets past post hold down F-8 and select the option Last working configuration-- For XP only.
If it still is not working choose Safe mode and go through your Error logs-note- in your system/advanced/Setup/System Failure make sure that Automatic Reboot is not enabled so you can catch the error that will be sent into Microsoft error reporting
Enable Complete Memory Dump so you can see the information.
If you backed up your system using System Restore use this first.
If still not working insert your XP disk, you should be given an option to Repair. _________________ http://www.nosmacktards.com |
