Hey guys,
would ANYONE know how i could seperate the gold from a CPU into gold that i could sell? Im asking because i want to buy like 200 old CPUs and sell the gold off of them. the boiling point for gold is almost 1950 degrees F!!! i have no idea how to do this...my dad thinks he has a was, but it involves bringin stuff home from work. Anyways, if anyone could find some info on this, id greatly appreciate it!!!

well 1 ounce of gold sells for about 400$$ down here...not sure how many CPUs that would be honestly. but if i can buy them at like recycle centers or garage sells for cheap, id make a profit somehow... |

It's going to take a whole lot of CPU's to get an ounce. I'm sure there are easier ways to get $400. I guess it can be a hobby. _________________

The profit is in selling old cpus to some one who thinks they are going to make a fortune recycling them.
Here is a link to some others who are trying

I remember stumbling across a Ebay auction for 150 old CPUs and they actually sold for over $200.
I have been collecting old CPUs ever since in the hope that I can find such a sucker

it would be more expensive to buy the comps and the stuff to get the gold hot enough to melt off. then to sell the gold and try that. you mine as well just get a job _________________

yeah theres not much gold in there. the gold is really thin and it would take a hell of alot to get an ounce. your better off buying a bunch of goldschlager liqour and just siphoning the gold out. then you can get drunk while doing it _________________
