The new blood. I've heard lots of people saying its cool, but I hate it. I think it looks like a big 2D dinner plate(one that blocks my view), having never actually shot anyone I'm not sure what the blood spray would look like, but if it looks like that its almost enough to turn me off on the whole killing people thing altogether.
(I just stubbed the hell out of my toe, so now I'm grumpy and taking it out on DoD) |

Yea the Doom I bloodsprites are pretty messed up. At first I that it was the crappiest thing ever, but after a while I managed to gett used to it. It does help that you can tell if you've hit the guy or not.
My gripe in the beginning was that it blocked my view of the guy when I was shooting him. But after a while you don't even notice. There is a console code to turn it off, but I can't find the link right now... hmm. |
