I finally tried that gun on Flugplatz and woah! that thing kicks a

I could never control the recoil that well pre 1.2, but man that thing is a killing machine now. I wish it was available on all the maps.

Kekeke, that thing is a flaming sword. I would punch Ghandi in the face if I were to get an FG42 out of the deal. I've been #1 at The Ville in scoped FG42 kills since February I think.

It's much easier to handle now. I always thought it was easier to control than the BAR since its rate of fire was faster (which made it kick more but made it more stable). Now that the BAR sucks ass and the FG42 is a death-ray... Fix my BAR! FIX IT!

The only thing it has going against it is the huge muzzle flash, its hard for me to tell when I've killed my target so I wind up shooting half a clip into their dead body after they're already dead. Oh well, I can think of worse ways to waste half a clip...

What? The FG42's recoil was reduced dramatically for 1.2, that's what we're talking about mang.

Back in 2.0B recoil was the same

Check the 1.2 changelog if you don't think it's true:

Read the 7th line.

This isn't the real world though. You can throw knives and shovels in the real world. Duh.

cl_particlefx 0 will get of that muzzle flash for you, along with pesky stuff like smoke and rain. and it'll give you a giant fps boost too
