You enter an artist's name and the site will come up with several other artists that have similiar music. From there you can browse around the place by clicking on different artist names and seeing their results, or entering a new artist in the search field. It doesn't only feature popular bands either. You can enter pretty much unknown people/bands and it will either have an exact match, or will do a search for artist "loo alikes". The larger the icon around the name, the more popular or well-known the artist is. It's great for finding music you might never find otherwise.
