How do I make pictures into thumbnails.
I found this site http://photobucket.com/
I figured that the site would automatically resize pic into thumbnail and I could just post it but of course not. _________________

take your big picture and reduce to a little picture....think small
you can then link it to a larger picture. just llike your for justice for all sig pic. ???

Here are some directions for various photo shop type programs
Adobe Photoshop:
Open your image
Select / All
Edit / Copy
File / New / OK
Edit / Paste
Close your original image
Make sure your new image in is RGB Color
If not: Image / Mode / RGB Color
Select / All
Layer / New / Layer Via Cut
Photoshop 4.x:
Layer / Transform / Scale
Resize the image and hit enter when done
Select All
Edit / Copy
File / New / OK
Edit / Paste
File / SaveAs
Save the thumbnail with the desired file name (i.e. image.tn.gif)
Photoshop 5.x:
Edit / Transform / Scale
Resize the image and hit enter when done
Select All
Edit / Copy
File / New / OK
Edit / Paste
File / SaveAs
Save the thumbnail with the desired file name (i.e. image.tn.gif)
Paint Shop Pro:
Open your image
Save your image with a new name for the Thumbnail
IMAGE
RESIZE
Select: 'Custom Size'
Select: 'Maintain Aspect Ratio'
Enter a value smaller then your image below 'Custom Size'
OK _________________ Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering. |

Too complicated.
Just:
Open the pic in MSPaint
Go to Image/Attributes
Type in the new dimentions for the thumbnail
Go to File/Save As and name it yourpic_thumb.jpg or something similar
Upload both pics
Type this in the forum:
Code: | [url=http://address to big pic][img]http://address to small pic[/img][/url] |
That should do it. _________________
