Virus from KRG??

I got an email from KRG that had an attachment and this subject: ßdo0ßi4grjj40j09gjijgpüdé

I deleted it right away because fluffy told me he received a few emails that contained virusii in them. If it isn't a virus send it to me again, but I wanted to make sure first and bring it to peoples attention.

one of the emails i got was from:
hewettfan@hotmail.com and i got another from someone @aol.com dont remember what the name was though, just be on the lookout

i got a email from him also but i asked him about it and he doesnt even remember sending it to me so idk krg u have to stop drinking when u send emails

It's not me. It's The Ville email program.

Several others have received the same sort of email from other ville addresses.

I really can't tell you why.

I haven't heard anything from anyone about my Ville email. Mebbe you need to delete your email list KRG

what happens is its like a script that crawls various websites. it takes common email addresses on the site and randomly sends mail from one address to another with a virus. chances are the individual people sending and receiving dont have a virus, as long as they dont open the email. also make sure your virus definitions are up to date.

Zener is right one of the latest viruses has its own internal SMTP engine in it, so as it looks through emails on your machine or others it randomly picks and inserts both the "To" and "From" email address - wicked nasssssty virus - yes my precious!

1. I do not use The Ville email.

2. I never added address to my Ville email.

3. When I send emails to people at The Ville, I include an 8x10 snapshot of me nekked self straddling a rubix cube. If this is not present, it didn't come from me.

edit = yeah I did use The Ville email waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when. Used to be through squirrelmail or something like that. But that was a long time ago. . . .I think. . maybe. . . .perhaps.

Yeah I got one from blue's address I think. Don't open any @theville.org emails unless the subject is something that makes sense.
