Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get the map vote add-in for half-life?

It's the add-in that shows at least 5 maps and everyone has a chance to vote for one.

It's called AMX Mod. It's like adminmod, but a little different. You can get it at www.amxmod.net

That version said it works with Counter-Srike. I'm looking for the one for DOD. Or, do you think this will work too with DOD???

It works with DoD. You have to modify the maps.ini in amx mail folder similar to this.. delete and replace the CS stuff. The name in quotes is what will be visible to the players.. Here is an example :

dod_anzio "Anzio"
dod_avalanche "Avalanche"
dod_caen "Caen"
dod_charlie "Charlie"
dod_chemille "Chemille"
dod_donner "Donner"
dod_flash "Flash"
dod_forest "Forest"
dod_jagd "Jagd"
dod_kalt "Kalt"
dod_kraftstoff "Kraftstoff"
dod_zalec "Zalec"
dod_escape "Escape"
dod_flugplatz "Flugplatz"
dod_merderet "Merderet"
dod_switch "Switch"
dod_glider "Glider"
dod_vicenza "Vicenza"

and so on if you have customs.. etc.

Also if you are using amx be sure to use the one in the forums and not the main page.. its a newer version 0.98 its here..

Or.. if you are just starting with amx you may want to use this instead. Its the future of amx since the orginal developers have stopped updating the original.
