Hey guys!!!
So, last night no one was on the ville, so i decided to pub some other server. I went to one where all the guys talked about how good they were, but when i came down to it I dominated them all, and this was with some sauce in my system. Anywho, the main reason I am posting this, is not to brag, but to say how good the competion is on THE VILLE servers. As far as I am concerned, some of the best guys play on the server, and it is not about beign macho, it is about having fun. In addition, some guys on the ville are even willing to take direction, and use teamwork, which is the best. Anyway, just wanted to say I appriciate the ville. PEACE ALL

yeah the ville is the best. I dont always go for kills(mostly cause i suck). But i do like capping flags.

yea ive noticed the same thing when i go to other servers... although i havent been able to play much lately., usually the people on other servers are crying pieces of crap who insist that everyone better than them is hacking. teh ville is teh Roxorz

That's damn right Req. I've got a friend who mostly refuses to play at The Ville because he says "I always seem to do so crappy...". Hehe, I wonder why!

I personally like the positive sportsman/woman-like atmosphere of the Ville. I simply enjoy when players are enjoying themselves and working as a team. I like the administrators that run the servers and lay down the law when things get out of hand - they're usually always around and are all good guys looking out for everyone. And to be honest: I even like the no swearing policy. Don't get me wrong, I do use four letter adjectives/verbs/nouns constantly but it simply makes the server look like hell when the chat is spammed by foulmouthed tools and you read comments like "OMFG ur such f***ing bull***t Ten Yard u fu****n hax0r noob" and such.

A few days ago I strayed from The Ville for a couple games and was called a hacker about ten times and banned from the server after I busted into their camped out zone and shoveled four of 'em among other things. :\ When some admin with an MP40 does 40 damage to me and I do 126 damage to him with a BAR... FIGURE IT OUT! Don't BAN ME. Use a bigger gun or hit me in the head if you can't seem to kill me with your pea-shooter. "OMFG u wallhack u shot me throw a door!"... well yes, I do have ears that funtion you know. People who don't seem to understand basic characteristics about DoD actually run servers without ever figuring these things out.

Sorry, I get angry at being called a hacker, I hardly find it a compliment.

Yeah I played at some other servers and did way better than anyone. At the ville, I go for caps rather than kills.

You know... hmm. Before I came to the Ville for good a few months ago, I played at a 17 man server called Fraggers Central for a couple solid months. The guys taught me quite a few things about the game, they were also tough as freaking nails and didn't let me get away with anything stupid in game.

I honestly think that those couple months of getting my ass busted every night helped me become a more adept player. That's not to say that the Ville doesn't have great competition - it most definitely does. I'm just sayin' that I owe a lot of what I learned from those guys.
