Hey guys.I was wonderin if it was possible 2 try and get a server for Call of duty.Its an awesome game and requires a team effort.Tell me what you think thx.

I find the multiplayer to be extremely asslike in many different ways, but I'd still play if someone set up a CoD server.
Er... The Ville.org Half-Life Gaming Community...  What would become of it? |

FYI there used to be a Battlefield1942 server hosted by MunkeyEye a while back. It too carried the Ville name 
I don't think a CoD server is unheard of for the Ville. We just need someone to host it  . I play it all the time but I have no regular servers that I play on.

| Seems like everytime a non HL type game is added they do terrible here. BF did aweful. ET did well but not really anyone from here played it. Dunno, maybe COD would be better even though I dont have the game. heh |

BF did aweful because of server instability. Same issues Munkey had with his TFC server. Just lack of time to maintain it.
CoD seems to be doing very well as far as server traffic goes. I usually have a hard time getting onto the servers that I ping well on because they fill up so quick

ET was a sweet game, i played it a few times but nothing really perminate. I dont know why but im like hooked to HL. Ill play other games sure, WC3 D2 BF UT but i always end up back at HL and back to this same old comunity
I think CoD would be a great addition but who to host? thats the big question....

| Whats the BW requirements for this game for a server. Lets say a 512kb up connection? How many player spots makes a good server? |
