Just got part of the roof of my mouth grafted in place of some missing gum tissue today and now the numbness is wearing off. W00-oooowwwwww.

| I feel your pain. Had it done back when I was a kid. Sucks for a day or two, then should be find. Did they have you wear a plastic mouth piece to cover the grafted area? |

No, no mouth piece, so I guess I'm lucky in that aspect. Still feels like a bish.

Ahhh recessive gum graft surgery, as I believe it's called. A friend @ school had that done...I called him the next day to see how he was doing

Now it doesn't hurt so much, just feels really funky in the front. I think it was done on the lower left canine, but I can't really look without running the risk of screwing it up, which would be bad.
I also have to use a rinse instead of brushing that area for about two weeks, and I have to keep food away from that side of my mouth. P00p.
