I need some help from everyone to motivate cpt. keyes to load Steam onto my computer... currently, I am only able to play on his computer-which means only one of us can play at the same time. I am unable to download Steam myself because I have dial-up...which means that it would take 58 hours.... and since I live at my dad's house, I am not allowed to tie up our one phone line for over two days.... so, please help me get keyes to dl steam onto my comp from his.... also, any ideas how to do that? we got a parallel connection cord, but couldn't figure out.... THANK YOU ALL! |

just give me 5 mins alone wit him and ill turn him around...*leaves that open for someone to mess wit* *smashes fist into other hand*
for your comp is it the family comp or do u have your own pc...cause if thats it just bring it over to his house and hook it up on lan and trans data that way...or...have him burn it to a cd and then give that to u or just smack him once...that really wouldnt help but it would make me feel better _________________

You are forgetting one thing.
If you have dialup at the machine where you will be playing the half-life mods, then you won't have sufficient internet speed to play online using steam. _________________

the dod-only install can fit on a cd i think. if not, have him make a zip file with it and split it into 2 files and burn them each on a cd. but why would you want to play steam games over dialup? i say convince someone that you need broadband!! =) |
