Does anyone know what this means TEX_Initfromwad: dod_narby.wad Isn't a wadfile

It looks like a corrupt file. Where did you get the map?

Ummm If I knew then I would get rid of it I just started playing again and all of a sudden I have all types of errors with DOD. I was just on there yesterday and now today it has errors. dod_flash it won't let me play because it differs from the one on the servers

so I guess they updated something within the map but not for the servers hmmm I don't know. It's the wonderful world of STEAM uninstall/reinstall uninstall/reinstall and so on and so on.

steam could be great...if it were done well. sadly valve cant do anything remotely right

I'd look in your d0d folder and find that wad file, then rename it and see if it redownloads it off a server. If not get ahold of me and I could possibly send you mine. Prob got currupt from something and is causing errors.

I just redownloaded steam which was a good thing I have a 40-50 ping in DOD now instaed of 10-15

I think it might of had somethinf to do with me uninstalling the old HL folders so I just deleted everything and started over.

Up here in northern Canada, Steam mists off my fecal matter when I take a dump in the bush...and the only wad we have is toilet paper, and that works everytime....
