I got a new FX5200 today and I also downloaded the new steam update. I dont really know for sure but whenever I attempt to join any multiplayer game now steam freezes. Is it because I need to update my drivers?

I seem to be having the same issue comp locks up when entering a game. Does not happen everytime just most of the time, this has been since the last steam update, have not changed anything on my comp.

Yep, I have the same problem. It's called a memory bleed, and those are caused by sloppy, poor coding.

Every version of Steam I've downloaded and updated it has a memory bleed happen from some event forcing me to end process on HL.exe

Updating my Nvidia XFX drivers and reinstalling DX 9.0 got rid of the problem.
