Way back when, the ville used to have friendly league-like competitions -- the ville cup and the ville league. Though they were a lot of fun, they were cancelled due to several problems. First, the teams were too unbalanced (league people vs. pubbers), so random teams were then assembled by the person running the league (frag I think). That solved the team stacking problem, but now that a lot of people didn't know each other that well, nobody bothered to really practice, or sometimes even show up. Communication was bad, and several matches had to be forfeited because of a low player count.
It'd be fun to try it again. maybe with dod and/or ns as well, but we'd have to figure out a new setup

I would not mind a NS one. One advantage is that aslong as atleast 3 on each team show you could play Combat, and if you get 6 v 6 can can do it in classic mode (which is a lot better for a actual planned match)
