I just learned that Angela Vecchio-Ozmon passed away thursday. For you americans, you probably don't know who she was, but most canadians knows her.

Her fight against cancer was lost this week at 39. She was interviewed all along her journey by the national television. She was a figure of inspiration, of courage, a spark of life despite her condition.

When you think you are unlucky, or that life sucks, just think about how she fought against her sickness.

A sad day indeed, but in a time of sadness, I remember one thing about great people such as her, A candles light only shows when it is brought into the darkness, and so must we remember her by how she shone like the sun in the dark world we live in, and so illuminated our lives with her struggle against death. For that, her life is made worthwhile. May the light that she has shed for us, guide us always.
