great new movies

you know what movie rocked all over and over for the hole like 3 hours it lasted, LORD OF THE RINGS is one of the greatest movies i have ever had the pleasure of going to see, it kicked all ass, way better than the cartoon one,please add to this with great movies, they dont have to be new ones, i'll add right now, seven, a great movie, american pie2, way better than the first one, jay and silent bob strike back, funny movie, clerks, very good movie also

I'm in agreement that The Lord of the Rings was a very good movie, but the books are still better.

I totally disagree. Lord of the Rings was WAY TOO LONG---3 hours.... c'mon! I could've capped 100 flags in that time! Also, it's one big cliffhanger. If they want me to invest 3 hours of my life they better at least give me an ending!! This movie had no ending. Also, it pisses me off that parts 2 and 3 have already been filmed, yet we have to wait until Hollywood maximizes profits from LOTR pt 1 on the video-rental circuit before they'll continue the story (ie release pt 2).

no it was a good movei, pearl harbor was too long and boring, but anyway, the jerk is a great movei, and vampire hunter d, and akira, ninja scroll, the streetfighter anime, X, aliens 2-4, the entire star wars series.... add on,

Has anybody seen Princess Mononoke? That is one killer movie, it's an anime, but I think it rates at about as good as Akira. And yes, Lord of the Rings kicked some serious ass.
