Can anyone please help me bypass a firewall?

Hey everyone,
I am back at my college, and well they have a firewall against on-line gaming, downloading music and such

. I know there is a way to bypass it but i don't know how, i heard about maybe setting your ip port address or something but i don't know how. I need to play some DOD lol. Do you know of anyway i could try to bypass this so i could play some DOD on the ville?? Any help would be a blessin! thanks

ask the school, i'm not sure how much else you can do, but thne again fi you do get past its a violation of school policy. bobins had the same problem but they changed i suppose

just ask the school to unblock the ports needed to play dod.

with some luck they will.

About three years ago Greebo posted a document to help getting past the firewall for TFC. I would imagine it would work with DoD also. I never really read through it so I'm not sure what it entails. I will try to locate it though.

It talks about connecting to a machine outside the firewall that can use the ports needed for DoD. Should work if you know of anyone that can help you

If all else fails then try this:

Grab a pen and paper and go grab as many signatures as you can in protest of your school taking it upon they're selves dictating what the students there can and can't do on they're own time concerning the schools network.

Your not alone trust me! This BS is happening all over the nation.If the school is misunderstanding the difference between what ports are used for On-line Gaming and what ports are for P2P software (Napster, Kazaa)Maybe they are afraid of RIAA Lawsuits more than they are gaming and don't know the difference ? It's your job to get all the facts first and then a solution.

Do this it seems to work 99% of the time if you want it fixed without lifting a finger..

Write Al Sharpton and tell him that your school "Black-Balled" Online Gaming and I'll guarantee you that he will show up at your dorm with the entire "Gum Ball Coalition" ready to sue somebody
