Ok, well not really. But I am in the Ville VII DoD server right now 5:36PM Eastern Time on Thursday Jan 15, 2004 and all the other DoD servers are full. But this one is totally empty except for me. (I'm typing this on another machine)
So, let's see if we can fill this baby up with Ville 'uns before my wife gets home and I have to make dinner.
Come join and we can be trendy flash mob literate types.

Well that worked out great! A whole bunch of folks showed up. Probably some of them didn't read the post, but I know that Shockwave and Azrael and powder were there. Later I on I saw Vicoden and DIH and others, but at that point I was too busy fighting for my life to ask if they saw the post.
So, if you are at a party and someone mentions a flash mob, you can say with a bored attitude, "Yes yes, I've so been there and done that."
GG everybody, now I gotta go get the wife, it's cold at the bus stop.

i am curious...why people don't come to ville 7. Jfet and i get really sad over this. I know for a fact Jfet cries himself to sleep every night (god knows i hear it every night). So please people i need sleep tell us what we can do to make the server better (perhaps there is nothing). Thank you

I will go to the server if it would help him not cry like a wee lil' lass. _________________

Allright Warhammer... it looks like I'm gonna have to make you hit me in the fist with your head for that one. Although God knows when was the last time I saw you in game. It's a DC area metro station and she catches a commuter bus from there to our home. Do they have such modern conveniences there in Georgia? hehe Heck, I can't take that line of humor too far, I'm in Virginia myself.
BTW, my wife is expecting a little FingerDemon, so watch what you say about her. All the hormonal tension has us both on edge and you don't want a taste of our family size can of whoop-ass.
I guess I hadn't paid attention to the fact that it was Jfet's server, but I think it is easy for a server to stay empty. I'll try and join it and post a message for others to join when I see it empty. That sure seemed to work last night. Maybe others can do the same and we can get that party started.

<edit> Oh and Stevo, a flash mob is a new trendy thing where people sign up for emails that tell them to quickly congregate somewhere in a city and do something harmless and inane like chant something or 100 people all browse at once in a single bookstore. Then disperse like it never happened. It was bewildering people for a while until the press started reporting on it. It seems like one of those flash in the pan things like streaking in the 70s. </edit> |

I poked my head in on TV7 for a bit last night. It usually does really well. I am surprised it isn't getting used more. You will catch me on there this evening when I get home from work as well _________________

Congrats brother fingerdemon on the new jr!!!!! I am proud for you and the wife. Remember to keep her fed and all those cravings satisfied and you will be fine. Also, get all the frickin sleep that you can before the young un gets there, cause you will not get any for the next 2 years at least!!!!!
I hope to see you online soon, likely on TV7, since that seems to be the latest mission. FILL TV7 PEEPS!!!! FILL IT UP! _________________ JohnCarter, Warlord of Mars
