Safe Mode

i was wondering if there was a safe mode for day of defeat. because my friend (Sgt. SkillZ) changed the resolution for day of defeat to 2100 x 1500 or something like that and my monitor cant handle that. and now when i try to run dod i cant see anything. if there was a safe mode then i could go in and change it back. but i cant find one. if anyone can please let me know how i can do this, it would be awesome. thanks

You should just be able to start a game without going to a server, then go in a change your settings.

I believe all you need to do is right click on your steam icon in your system tray, select games, right click on DOD and select launch game.

That should bring you up to the base screen where you can select options, then video and then set things correctly.

except thats where it screws up. its not when i go into servers. its when the game loads up

so i cant even get to where i can select the options. as soon as i load day of defeat my display goes all whacky

OK, I'm at a loss now, hopefully someone will be able to help, in the mean time you may wish to check www.steampowered.com in their forums and such, see if there is any help there.
