				Hey all, what exactly is the cl_flush entity error? I was able to connect last night, with a decent ping too (about 85-120). But as soon as I picked a team and a character, I got that message and my ping skyrocketed into the 4000 range. I think someone addressed this somewhere, but I can't find the thread. Any help would rule, Snaggle.

				try adding fps_modem "33" or higher until the error happens. place it in your TFC Autoexec.cfg... higher isn't always better!

				Try changing your rate.

It should be at about 5000.

Type in console==>rate 5000

Try a higher rating if you would like.

If you are on a dial-up, you may have just lost connection with Won.

				| I have a cable modem and usually have a ping of about 100. But every 20 minutes or so my ping goes up to 4095. It always comes back down but sometimes very slowly. Would changing my rate help? |

				I have a cable modem also. These are the 3 commands I changed (thanks Beandaddy). It stopped my lag spikes pretty good. Nothing will help though if your Isp isn't doing well.

rate "8500"

cl_cmdrate "30"

cl_gibcount "1"

If you have a steady 100fps or over, you can leave the rate at 9999, which is default. Try and experiment between 5000-9999. If you lose connection with Won for a little bit, you will get the flush problem. |

				I've got my rate tacked down for each server. All of them are about 2750 (slow, I know. But it's the only way for me to keep playing with this blasted AOL connection.)
