Hello,

I am the leader of a new Day of Defeat clan called the 114th PanzerGrenadier Regiment. I was wondering if any of TheVille servers could sponsor my clan. We would play there all the time, and have practices and scrimages and matches there. The clan website is www.alphastrike.aswz.net

Yeah, i guess. Uh, pick a server.

Sure, you can pay there, and maybe adopt it as "your home," but I don't know if it's possible to actually lock the server for private practices/scimmages/matches. Unless you're willing to pay for it, since the DoD servers are preeeetty popular.

Of course this is totally off the record since i'm not an admin nor a ville supporter in any way. shame on me!

i guess i'll have to commit seppuku to regain my honor :/

well tv 7 is a private server. maybe you can ask brn (bright red nipples) if you could use it for your clan on certain nights.

You can probably use the private server, but I'm sure they wont want to lock a public server for another clan's matches.

ok so.....is anyone willing to sponsor, we dont really need it for practices and such right now, just more of a place to do some recruiting and get the clan going from. If I could speak to an admin about this, that would be great.

Welcome to The Ville doob!

We definitely look down on recruiting on the servers. This tends to disturb gameplay so we like to keep that sort of thing out of game.

We also prefer that you do not use our public servers for any sort of clan/group practice while open to public gameplay. Basically, no team stacking.

Nothing against you or your group at all doob.

That being said, you and your group are always welcome here as long as you adhere to the rules.

Is there any way you could provide a new private server or something, like, do you guys run servers at all? lol, I wont give up, i need a server

The server I was providing was not getting used. I refuse to pay for a server just so you and your clan have a place to practice. My intention is not to be mean but the way it sounds to me is you want someone to pay money out of their pocket so that YOU and your clan have a place to scrim. Not money well spent from my perspective.

If you do a search on google you should be able to find companies that lease servers on a monthly basis. Get together with your clan and you should be able to flip the bill for one.

Currently we have 11 (maybe more

) servers running 4 different mods.

The Ville is an on line community which houses public gaming servers.

We are here for the gaming public and regulars who frequent our servers. Shutting a public server down for clan practice just isn't something we do here.

The Ville is not a clan or group. While we do have internal groups of regulars such as USV, TVB, and TVR, they operate on their own.

From time to time, we organize events and things of that nature. Hang around and see what we are all about. Become part of our community. Then perhaps you may be more likely to receive better response to your inquiry.
