Hmm..to those of you who played MMORPGs or are going to...which are you going to play?? World of Warcraft or Everquest 2??? Im having a very hard time deciding, cause both look mighty fun. EQ2s graphics might be better, but that doesnt mean gameplay is!

i must be the only gamer in the world that hated eq's engine, WoW would have my vote if i ever wated to pay to play a game by month.... loyalty toward blizzard i guess, and warcraft could stand a large story mode.

mmmmmmm.. .craaaaaaaaack.

I agree. Crack kills. So, is Half-Life kinda like huffing paint or more like an alcohol dependency?

I say reinstall Bumper Cars and relive the awesome glory of it's far superior storline and graphics.

Ill be going where the majority of people are this time.

I have tried every MMORPG title since 3do's Meridian 59 and The Realm. The only one that kept my interest for a long period of time besides M59 was Everquest. I still have my account from when it first was released. Don't play very often though.

DAOC kept me around for about a year or so.

Im waiting for the next BIG thing like EQ was when it was released. Maybe one of these will be the one. Both titles sound like they are going to be big. Especially since you are talking about Blizzard and their strong name. Same with Everquest. This time i'll go to the game where my friends are heading, and the one that seems to have the most content.

I've been keeping up with this company too

VERY nicely put Silver!!

Well, im leaning towards WoW, just because EQ made me sort of mad with a few little things. Plus something about the screenshots of WoW make it seem more of a total fantasy land than EQ2 does. I believe it to be the scenery (spelling?) and things like that.

EverQuest 2 looks like more of the same with upgraded graphics. But still has the terrible stigma of EverCrack being addictive and populated solely by it's socially inept veterans.

World of Warcraft is stylized into a more cartoonish atmosphere, but it works exceptionally well. WoW won Best InGame Graphics at E3 surpassing all of the others who are striving for hyperrealism.

It looks like a fun cartoon world with all the familiar WarCraft characters and races and sceanery on a grandios scale.

You can't achieve graphical realism in a MMORPG with today's computer technology, so the best path is a stylized, but very polished, very cool gameplay system....I have yet to hear what the gameplay will be like, and what if any price will be set for payment........Hopefully Blizzard again will make free what used to be PAY ONLY...Before Battle.net there was no free gameserver, when Battle.net was created I couldn't believe it, and all of it free! Hopefully they will make the game a one purchase unlimited free play, that would easily shoot it to #1 MMORPG due to no monthly cost to play, like Diablo2.

We can only wait and hope

In their faq it states there will be a monthly fee for the content, service, etc.

Damnit, I knew I read that somewhere.......well lets hope it's only $0.99 a month, or at least less than $10.
