ville.spr?

How come all of a sudden I am getting an error when I try to connect that says "could not find sprites/ville.spr? Can I down load this somewhere? The link I found in a previous post was dead.

Yeah, it should download by it's self, but I will put it up for download.

Download it to Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/your_email/Team Fortress Classic/tfc/sprites

If a folder isn't there, create it.

it downloads itself normally, check your config and look if these lines are on 1

cl_download_ingame "1"
cl_allowdownload "1"

The server might have downloads turned off due to a flaw in HLDS that can allow someone to remotely take control (hack) the server if downloads are enabled. Joyus steam (most servers have disabled downloads till this issue can be resolved).

That issue has been fixed. And dl's have always been enabled.

Thanks guys, works good now. Was connecting fine and then all of a sudden started getting the error that the file was missing. And I have both my cl_allow download and cl_download_ingame set to "0" so it wasnt downloading it.
