hey guys..im doing a poll on asian americans stereotypes for my asian american studies class...but yea to get to the point..what is the first thing that comes to mind when you guys/girls see an Asian american?

if none of those come to mind please post your comments too...

this brings a funny, really bad story to mind...well not that funny and we didn't mean it, we were jsut mentioning stereo types after someone said the first thing. we were at commerce bank down on oregon ave. like 3 blocks away and one guy was like ohh crap theres an asian, he's gonna kung fu our aces and steal the money. and i'm like... yeah sure and then he is goign to go get in that honda and drive away poorly. and the third guy was like, no its ok we can follow the trail of rice. i admit!!! this was horrible of us to say, but after the first guy made the joke we had to keep it going. sorry if it offends anyone

even funnier is the fact that we jsut watched a movie called " they call me bruce" about an asian guy that everybody calls bruce, and thinks he can do kung fu, really bad old funny movie.. again please try not to get mad

After nearly half a century of living with all types I have to say no one has the market cornered on brains, driving ability, love, math skills, cooking, being a jerk, being mean, working hard, having happy families, being sussesfull, being generous, more driven then others, masturbates more frequently, has dreams of supremacy, wants to contol you, being prejudice, living the bigot life, and all the other nasty, beautiful, imperfect, things each of us drags along with them in life.

i'd also say nothing. I've grown up around all kinds of people and have gotten used to it. I see people for just being people. Not what race they are. Well i dont care as long as they dont drive an import with a wing on it.

there are a very large number of asians in the town i moved to, and i know people who do poke fun at them, however i absolutely detest sterotypes and biases that ignorant people have... noone is perfect, and im sure there are tons of people who sterotype me as a white male, but by not doing it yourself or encouraging other people doing it is how i usually deal with it... it is very hard to outright stand up to one of your frineds and and say "dont make fun of other people", anyone who says it isnt is lying, but if you can, do it

When I see an Asian American, I think of Thai food. Because it is delicious. I've had foodgasms while eating it.

Honestly, I tease my friend Doyle all the time because he is Thai and his name is Doyle. lol

It's like meeting someone from Russia named Bob. What do I think of when I see an Asian American? Hell if I know, I never paid attention. I'm probably too busy checking out his girlfriend's arse.

If it's a woman, then I'm definitely looking at her bum.
