|
|
I tried to get onto the server today and I kept getting "you have been kicked from sever due to: Invalid STEAM User ID Ticket." I haven't had any problems before, and was even on last night around the 1-2AM shift. So, uh, wtf? Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Didn't make a difference for me still getting it. I guess I'm taking it good from Valve.

got a fix for the id problem off the steam forums.
open steam, select settings. Log out. it will popup an error then close it. Now launch it again, enter your password (should ask for it) Should be fixed now. |

unable to contact the authentication server, 35). _________________

ya, not sure. Mine wasnt exactly that error so maybe my fix only applies to my error. So far I've seen three different types of errors from this wonderful Steam update, errrrr bug release. They should just give up on this stupid idea of thiers and let everything return to won. Personally it would make my day if every server owner around switched back to Won and screw Steam. |

i just checked out the steam forums and found this

Error validating User ID ticket
There's a system problem causing this right now. We're working on the fix, shouldn't be too long.

From the Steam News page:
The Steam scheduled downtime and maintenance has been completed. We have also released a small Steam update.
Following the release of the update this morning, there was an issue preventing many of our users from connecting to game servers ("User ID Ticket Error 34", or similar). This has been fixed.
UPDATE: One of the Steam servers remained unpatched for several hours, and continued to cause this error for many people for the past few hours. The server has now been fixed and this error should be gone now. As always, let us know if you're having trouble. _________________

LOL, now it says:

UPDATE: Many users are still experiencing the error mentioned above. We are investigating the problem now, and we'll have everything back to normal ASAP. |
