Ever since they released that update and too it back and stuff, Steam got messed up. I had to download updates I already had and Counter-Strike says it's uninstalled and stuff.
The main problem now is that Steam freezes when I try to connect to a server. Anyone else have this problem?

Well, I looked in the Steam forums and found a fix. They said that they recalled the bad update and the rollback went bad. It deleted all the files and you had to redownload it. They said to reinstall it and it fixed the problem.
