yes today is a very sad day for me....i would have shipped out early this morning...but alas...mono has striken me...stupid military doctors delaying me till FEBRUARY!!!!! God d*mn it thats a long time...I WANNA LEAVE CHARLES COUNTY!!!!!

Think of it this way, would you rather be in boot camp with mono? I would think not. Even if you are just getting over it, it's better to wait till you are fuly recovered, that way you don't die.

yes you can....pretty rare but its possible. i imagine especially if you dont atleast try and get rid of it, and hard core work outs in boot camp..probably wont help it any

Hes going off to boot camp or he was hes not in the army I dont think. If you want to talk to someone whos in the army (the State's) the talk to Azrael.. Hope I spelt that right. Hes posted farther up in the thread.

on thursday i have my pt test, then if all goes well, im gonna be starting an army coop in february with the canadian army. im really excited about it, and its less life threatening, cause its the canadian army, not the us army lol

Personally I wouldnt join the Canadian army. And as for it being less threating how can it be when they have such outdated stuff? The RA in Canada sucks - trust me my aunts brother servered. If you really want to look into army life then check out Canadian Special Forces. They get better stuff and they have a much better chance of surviving.

i agree that the canadian army doesnt have as good of equipment as the us army does, but we also dont go into as dangerous places as the us army.
