ivee been tryin for two weeks 2 get on the dod servers and i cant cause it says something about local client lan connection. whats up with that???

That means you installed Steam and you're probably using the HL protocol link to connect, which is invoking the old HL.EXE and not the new STEAM.EXE. I'm not sure offhand how to change HL protocol to know to use Steam instead. Anyone out there who does?
