Its going down...

We are upgrading it to steam, plus doing a major hardware upgrade on it tonight.

As long as me n merf dont get to loaded it should be back up tomorrow morning.

I dont like change . I also don know if my comp. is fast enough to handel steam . I tecanaly should not be able to play dod. Ive got a 350mhz HP pentium 2 and min. requirements call 4 aleast a 450mhz. will i still be able to play ? i think this sucks

We really dont have a choice in upgrading to Steam. The won servers will be shutdown soon. So protest if you want, but the man has struck again..

I think Steam is great...........for great computers. It can cause lag if you lack hardware, but it can reduce lag if you have plenty of resources.

I think the admins are doing a very good job working with Steam and upgrading the servers!

im glad that some one took up 4 me thanks . went to down load steam and it said 6+ hours . wtf my comp is old but im on cable running good pings . is any body else got this problem, with how long it takes to down load ? #Rainbow1

keep trying i`m on cable and it took me ahwile to and i downloaded the 700+ installer.kept timing out

got steam got in to the ville7 had aping in the 1600s lagged alll to hell so i will no longer be playing here i guess that i realy do need a new comp.ive had alot of fun playing here and ill be back some day when iget alllof this shit figured out i realy wish that the ville didnt go to steam but thats the bricks

There really isn't any choice, Valve will be shutting down the WON servers shortly. When that happens you won't be able to authenticate to a Half-Life server without Steam.
