Jimmy Buffett is opening a Margaritaville bar at the Flamingo. It's going to be much like the one he has in Key West, Florida. It's due to open later this fall.
The monorail contruction is still on schedule. It's due to open in January. You'll then be able to take the monorail from one end of the strip to the other. Stop will include MGM, Bally's/Paris, Flamingo/Caesar's Palace (I'm not sure why Caesar's is included), Harrah's/Imperial Palace, Venetian, Convention Center, Hilton and Sahara.
The Las Vegas Monorail is the newest attraction on the famous Las Vegas skyline. Gliding above traffic at speeds reaching 50 miles per hour, you'll be able to cover the four mile route in approximately 14 minutes for as little as $3.00! - From http://www.lvmonorail.com/#
Caesar's Palace is still under construction. I'm not sure of any completion dates.
Wynn Casino (La Reve) is moving pretty quickly. It's due to open in about a year.
Mandalay Bay has built a second tower. It's due to open for Thanksgiving weekend. The tower is at least as tall the the main one.
Treasure Island still hasn't changed it's name to T.I. as of yet.

I'm thinking of holding Ville Bash 3 in April next year. It starts to get to the summer temps in mid May. So April would be ideal. The only thing would not be having it on the same week as spring break. You're gonna get inflated hotel rates unless you book super early.
Anyone have thoughts or interest? |
