You have ben disconnected from the server.
Reason: Error verifying STEAMUserID Ticket (server was unable to contact the authentication server, 27).


Anybody know why I might be recieving this message when I try to connect? It happens on any server I try to connect to. I never saw it before, and now it won't let me connect. I haven't changed anything, so it is a little weird.

check www.steampowered.com under the status setting. a bunch of the authenticiation servers have been going down today.

Does that mean that we just have to keep trying until the game finds an authentication server that works, or does each location have a specific authentication server?
