If your wondering as I was how to download custom maps into steam go to the web site http://alliedarmy.com/ click on the left side of screen where it says downloads and simply follow the download instructions. The maps are self installed and its easy.
This is a quote from the Allied Army with instructions:
Quote: | Best way to do that is to download the dod_aa1_mappack file from the downloads section of our website. When you've done that, simply direct it to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Your@Email.com\Day of Defeat\dod and it will automatically install all/most of the custom maps we run on our servers. If you want to ensure you get ALL of them, simply download the Custom dod Maps as well, and follow the same extraction procedures. |

Dont custom maps already in your WON installation get carried over into your steam install when it converts? |
