OMFG WTF!!!!!!!

Ok this pissed me off and scared the hell out of me. The whole computer worm thing is of course running rampant everywhere. Now, im browsing this site and suddenly BAM My screen turns white and the message came up that my computer was gonna shut down and all that jazz. I was freakin out, and then I realized it was a POP UP!!!! I couldnt get rid of it, i had to CTRL-ALT-DELETE the bugger just to get it to go away. Im still not sure if it was a hoax or not, it was quite convincing, but I have Windows 98 SE, so my system should be safe. But anyhow, please, if that pop up is frm this site, GET RID OF IT PLEASE!!!

Yeah, I got that, too. I guess it's some kind of ad. Just do Alt-F4 and it will close it.

I have had a Pop up that dosnt Pop up but rather freezes my web browser so I can't do anything until I Ctrl-Alt-Delete the pop ups that are running but don't show up on my monitor and Alt-F4 dosnt seem to work.

I really don't like it but oh well, nothing I can do.

This pop up has only started today and has happened 2 times and I have only visited the site once.

ROB NEEDS TO RUN THE PATCH FROM MICROSOFT TO BLOCK THOSE PORTS ASAP AS THIS THING CAME UP AT WORK AND I ALMOST POOPED MY PANTS....(cause I had just fixed the real virus for someone who brought their machine into work and he plugged it into the network without telling me causing me some angst) damn you [Focus]Zeus...

Unfortunately, I have to agree that this one goes over the line. It borders on scare tactics to sell something. Not good IMNSHO.

Fortunately most here are savy enough to figure out that it is just a pop-up. Oh and <alt-F4> does close the window.

P.S. Lunt: This is an ad, not a result of Rob not blocking the ports.

The worm doesnt affect any Operating systems win98 or lower so your fine, its just a poorly coded popup methinks.
