|
|
Hello! My name is Adrian and I work for Sony Pictures. I would like to tell everyone about a new Half-Life mod called “Underworld: Bloodline” developed by Black Widow Games, the same team who created “They Hunger.” Players can either choose to be vampires or lycans (werewolves) and battle through a cityscape, subway tunnels, sewers, the vampires’ mansion, over rooftops, and on trains. This multi-player game is a variation of capture the flag except that instead of capturing the enemy’s flag, each team is trying to capture a Hybrid, a part-vampire, part-lycan character who can help win the ancient war between the two clans. Players score points by killing opposing players or by capturing the Hybrid and bringing him back to the appropriate cell. If you enjoyed the Counter-Strike mod for Half-Life, you should definitely check out this mod. To download the game, go to: http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/underworld/game/underworld_bl.exe
Here are some specs on the game:
• Half-Life 1.1.1.0 required
• 2 game maps
• New variation on “capture the flag” using a live target
• 16 players per game, teams made up of Vampires and Lycans (werewolves)
• 8 distinct character models (4 Vampire and 4 Lycan)
• Each side has superhuman powers
• 10 weapons, including throwing stars, whips, automatic guns,
grenades, and knives
• 2 hidden super weapons
• 4 timed rounds per game, players switch sides each round |

With the spate of recent failed mods, I will wait to see what you guys think before trying it out. _________________

It looked promising at first, but then I noticed that even tho you have multiple classes, the all have the same stuff and do the same things. There's no class specific weapons or powers, it's all the same. It seems silly to give the warrior guy the sniper rifle, and the assasin guy the submachine gun. I don't know, call me crazy.
Although the jumping and super speedy gonzales running was kind of cool. _________________ Under construction!!! |
